Why doesn’t anyone take me seriously? I want someone to understand what I am going through and be there with me. Everyone just assumes that I am doing it for attention. But that is not the case. How do I make them believe??

Very simple and easy first step, have an appointment with counsellor on Rich Psych and discuss.

The most important question you want to ask yourself is "what do I think about myself?" Does my thinking about myself match with what others think about me?" and just as Mr. Hari Pal Singh mentioned, you can take a session to address this.

You should review your social communication. Focus on the cues that you transfer to other people while communicating with them. Another thing that you can do is ask the people who are close to you that why do they not take you seriously. These are long-term remedies. Immediately, you can emphasise and repeat that how serious the issues are to you. Explain to people that how important the issue is for you. See if there is a change in how people react to you.
