A feeling of depression and irritability indicates unresolved issues, unfulfilled expectations, etc. that need to be looked into. These feelings will stop ONLY when you address the issues that trouble you. These can be handled effectively and resolved. Please fix an appointment and speak to a counsellor, he/she will help you handle and solve these issues effectively.

Unresolved issues or repressed emotions are often the cause of irritation and feeling depressed. So you need to find out the trigger point, and face your issues and settle those. Whenever you feel low just check what made you feel this way and try to find out what triggered you. If you are still unable to do so then definitely connect with a counselor for help.
